Gerrad Mukuyu aka Gerrvd has been flying high with the success of his latest release Paulina, and he doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.
He has followed up on all this with a new single titled “Don’t Bite”, which couldn’t have come at a better time. As a new generation takes the reins, Afrocentric music is needed more than ever to remind listeners of their culture and values. “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you, it gon’ come back and hit you” is a phrase commonly used in Southern African folklore, to ensure people respect and pay homage to those that help them in any way and Gerrvd incorporates this lesson into his single.
